Description: For all my YT friends, you have requested and requested, so I have finally sat down and tied a bunch of these up for you. The TAMs Emerger is a simple variation based off the RS2, tied with sparse partridge tail, thread body, and CDC wing, on TMC 2488H hook in size 22. If you tie they are an easy tie and I do have a vid on my channel on how to do it. These are my #1 fly on the Pueblo Tailwaters and is a good representation of a BWO, but also passes for a Trico, and midges. I will fish it about 12-18 inches behind a lead fly such as a larger weighted fly (when the fish are holding deeper) or behind a dry fly (when the fish are feeding on the surface). A good dead drift is critical as this represents and drown bug drifting down the river in the current. I have found that this fly fished without a bead head fishes much better than a weighted one because if drifts down the river much more naturally. I usually use a 5-6X tippet material from the lead fly to this one. If you need additional tips please see my YT channel.
