Description: Finally, as promised (if a little later than I would have liked), here is my new design collection...In this collection, I have chosen to recreate Art Nouveau and Victorian tiles that have never been available to the market before and as such, the whole collection is entirely exclusive to me. As always, each single tile is an individual, unique work in ceramic artistry, slightly different to each other yet sufficiently consistent to place consecutively, without any immediately discernible alteration. Produced using the exact same methods as were used over a century ago, each tile is made by hand (hand painted, hand tube lined and hand glazed). Tube-lining is a process where a line of liquid clay is applied to different areas (much like one would ice a cake!) in order to accentuate the whole design, before being double kiln-fired. The result is a genuine tube lined product, unlike the cheap printed versions which occasionally appear. Each tile, unless stated in the description, measures 6" x 6" (150mm sq) and a robust 7mm thick. All of my new designs have accompanying single-colour field tiles and 6"x2" Ogee rail tiles for larger areas than fireplaces, such as porch restorations, kitchen back-splashes and bathrooms. Let me know if you need any information on these. So.... Welcome back ,old friend....Another of my very best selling designs from the past, this Rennie Mackintosh inspired piece has ben a mainstay in my collections to date. The Mackintosh Rose design is very popular among the Arts & Crafts aficionados and regularly sells out quickly. The central bloom is beautifully coloured with vivid sunset colours, from burnt orange to vibrant yellow with a cobalt blue epicentre. Art nouveau inspired stems of varied green complete this design which is shown beautifully against the background of delicate cream. Field tiles & Ogee Rails recommended for this versatile design - the Bone background, Cobalt Blue, Mahogany and of course, my Forest Green! Listing is for 10 tiles...Should you require more, or fewer, please let me know! Thank you for looking!Be Well!
