Description: 100% Genuine Dinosaur Coprolite Poo Fossil in Presentation Box This is a rare fossilised dinosaur coprolite (or poo), and was found in the Badlands of South Dakota, USA and is about 150 million years old. Coprolite is classed as a trace fossil, in contrast to dinosaur bones that are classed as body fossils. Trace fossils are very useful for Palaeontologists as they can provide clues about the behaviour of dinosaurs. For example, by looking at coprolite under powerful microscopes it is possible to learn about the dinosaur's diet. We know that T-Rex was a carnivore partly because it's coprolite shows the remains of dinosaur bones.
