It was found with a matching panel ( same theme different design) to see it's match, simply search my store for the word dog and it will appear! I love the dogs!!~ ~*~ It is French and it dates from right around 1900. This textile is French and has the most wonderful, classic French country scene. Bordered on each side with foliage and floral design~ this textile was woven on a jacquard loom. The pallet is darker, with muted tones of browns, khakis, pinks blues and black. This textile is made from a heavy cotton thread~ This textile would look so beautiful used as a wall hanging or lovely too used as a curtain or tablecloth ~ Even draped at the base of a bed would be gorgeous. It's backed in green cotton that was hand stitched to the textile ~ one in a million! Very high quality tapestry, weighing 6 pounds! ~ MEASUREMENTS: This gorgeous antique curtain measures approximately 114 inches long by 49inches wide CONDITION : This fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This panel should be dry cleaned only . It's in wonderful condition ~ the backing has some uneven fading from handing in a window ~ it's in fabulous antique condition, but not without signs of time and use often inherent in these magical textiles!~ ~*~ Library 6
