You want it to be on its highest heat setting in order for the patch to adhere properly to the item.2. Place your patch in the desired place on garment. 3. Place a thin cloth over the front of the patch. 4. Iron on that patch. Press firmly for 10-15 seconds. 5. Flip and repeat steps 3 and 4. (I suggest doing this step twice.) 6.
