Description: Here's a new offering from FoxDen Racing; (Canada's largest racing diecast collection) This Jacques Villeneuve 1998 Williams "Launch" car is a must-have. It was the first year for the grooved tires and the first year with a new Williams livery other than the iconic Rothmans. The red Winfield livery was quite beautiful and while Villeneuve (reining F1 Champ) would not win in this car, he did finish 5th in the championship with 2 podiums and 12 top 8 finishes. The Launch diecast was the car revealed to the public prior to the 1998 season commencing. The diecast was done in much lower numbers than the standard race version and is highly collectible. Shipping from Canada costs a fortune with our carbon taxes and all the other lovely government charges. The $27.50 I am charging is less than I will actually have to pay.
