The Royal Doulton logo and Robert Allen Studios number RA7305 date the plates to 1909. They are a classic Robert Allen shape with his signature elaborate design. The majesty of these plates is enhanced by the deep extensive intricate gilding surrounding the borders, rim edge and plate well. Each plate features eight panels hand-painted with roses. These stunning plates are wonderful examples of Gilded Age artistry at its finest. Very fine antique condition showing virtually no use. The plates measure 10.5 inches diagonally . Doulton’s Robert Allen Studios wares were only produced in small quantities.
