The lens is in beautiful condition and I’ve always shot this lens with the filter on, to preserve the pristine front element. Please refer to the photos, and note that in photo 13 I have shown there is a small scratch on the outside of the barrel which is not very noticeable and definitely doesn’t affect the lens performance.
