This lot is for a nice old Spanish Colonial / Pirate Era Coin from the 1600's known as a Lion & Castle type. Has decent details of a Castle on one side & a Lion on the other side. ( LOT #8 / inv. code #xs). Coin is about the size a US Nickel & it has some decent details ESPECIALLY for how old it is! It has MORE details than most coins that are OVER 300 hundred years old! Looks like one of the coins you may have seen on The Oak Island Money Pit Treasure Hunt TV show. These types of coins were made in the 1600's. We don't know a lot about super old coins like these so our lack of knowledge could be your gain! Coin has normal wear for age & condition.
