Description: For sci-fi lovers, here is the long forgotten Flash Gordon TV show, starring Steve Holland as the space-man himself. Produced in Berlin, German, by Interwest Film. In this 1954 episode, "The Water World Menace," "fish-men" are stealing the earth's oxygen for their underwater village, kidnapping Dale and Flash along the way. Meanwhile, Dr. Zarkov is stranded in space with little oxygen. It's up to Flash to fix things before this episode sinks. Irene Champlin and Joe Nash co-star, along with household names Heinz Plate and R. Kolldehoff. Action and adventure abound, even if no one else thought so. This old TV print has seen much wear but has the complete episode. There is some brown spotting towards the end, the result of either slight water damage or perhaps some processing malady. In any case, there are few splices and it's all there for the discerning historian or collector. Prints of this series are a hard find. The film will be shipped on a 1200' reel.
