Description: Henri Salembier. French. 1753-1820. Artist, Designer. 4 Etchings of neo classical designs. Produced about 1780. 4 designs in strips, attached in pairs to backing paper which is itself also old. Very rare item. Examples of these etchings can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. I've not managed to find any other examples listed online, and certainly nothing similar for sale. Each etching has the printed signature 'Salembier'. Good condition. 32cm by 25cm overall size including paper mounts.
