Description: This is a 1787 Post-Colonial Copper coin. It is a New Jersey State cent. It has a dark patina. It has some pitting. The Date is readable with coin tilted. It has the curved plow. There are several oddities in this coin. The horses ears are pointed and it has a large eye. The mane has extra hairs sticking straight out. This coin appears to be slightly larger than Normal. The shield has an outline around it.There is a defect in the minting. It has an line ( Die Break?) at the bottom of the coin under the shield that is not right.I will not grade this coin. I will leave that to you.
