18" American Girl Doll Kirsten Tinsel Hair Transitional Tan Body Pleasant Co.

Description: 18" American Girl Doll Kirsten Larson. She's a transitional tan body doll, made as they were switching from white body to tan body dolls, with sparkly "Tinsel" hair, probably from 1990 or 1991. She's stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, with the 1990 neck stamp, soft vinyl, chubby body, tinsel hair, long soft brown "white body style" eyelashes, and wide/thin neck strings that all line up with her date. Kirsten was very loved by her original owner, who gave her a short haircut to match herself. Her bangs appear uncut, and the length has been cut/trimmed evenly. It has the typical coarser feel of tinsel hair, with some dryness at the ends, but sparkles beautifully! It's hard to capture the sparkle in pictures, much more obvious in person, especially in the sunshine. No significant marks on her cloth body or vinyl limbs except for some smudge/shine marks from play. Her legs are a bit loose, but she can still stand unassisted or hold a pose. Her eyes open and close as they should. She does have silver eye in one eye, which can be repainted, or just left to be her special sparkly eye. Very soft, long curled brown eyelashes, one gap in the middle of one of them as pictured. No clothes included.She will be very carefully packaged for her journey home.
