Description: Up for sale here is this Late 1800's Tintype of a young man and his 1873 Winchester Rifle. The man is formally dressed with a Bowler Type Hat similar to the one Billy the Kid wore. The 1873 Winchester Rifle appears to be in outstanding condition with the bluing on the receiver showing 100% bright and proud. The plate measures approximately 3.25" X 2.5" and the image remains clear with some light scratches to the surface. The Double Daguerreotype Union Case is Branded A.P. Critchlow & Company and remains in outstanding original condition. The hinges are perfect, the internal latch functions flawlessly, and the velvet pad is beautifully in tact with no signs of rips or stains. The A.P. Critchlow label behind the tintype is slightly aged and is marked with a name that I cannot quite make out along with a note that says "Age 20 Year's" in pencil. A cherished family heirloom that was surely passed down through multiple generations with care. Item will ship USPS, FedEx, or UPS Ground depending on location and comes with a 14-day money back guarantee. I will be listing a handful of tintypes from my collection so please free free to check out my other auctions. Thank you.
