Externally, sound, though with some rubbing and light wear to the extremities. Three hinges strained. Internally, firmly bound. Bookplate of Auberon Waugh Library Sale to front pastedown of fourth volume. Pages are bright, and generally clean, with just a few instances of foxing and some tidemarks to the plates.
