Tracts for the Times explores the scriptural view of baptism, as established by the consent of the ancient church, and contrasted with the systems of modern schools. Reverend E. B. Pusey's sermon was performed in Oxford Cathedral on the fourth Sunday after Easter in 1843. CONDITION In a half calf binding with marbled paper covered boards and gilt design to the spine. Externally, a trifle rubbed with the front board held by the cords only. Internally, firmly bound with bright pages and the odd spot which is heavier to the endpapers. Copperplate ink signature to the front free endpaper.
