Hinges are worn, and while pages remain attached, the support is not even throughout. The fold out illustrations have some tearing and toning. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Josiah Priest was an American nonfiction writer whose works have since been categorized as pseudo archaeology and pseudo history. His works often used pseodohistorical arguments to justify the violent domination of Indigenous Americans and African American populations. He helped set the stage for the Trail of Tears and justifications for slavery.
