Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Josiah Priest was an American nonfiction writer whose works have since been categorized as pseudo archaeology and pseudo history. His works often used pseodohistorical arguments to justify the violent domination of Indigenous Americans and African American populations. He helped set the stage for the Trail of Tears and justifications for slavery. Issues with hinges or binding due to age or wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration or rebinding, if desired. FORN-SHELF-0679-BB-0123-JR873
