Minor corner wear to head of spine. Marbled endpapers with pastedown of Henry Lee Gray (Spes Sibi Quisque) to front, and Arthuri Fisher (treb und fest) to back. Top edge dyed, other edges marbled. xii, 578 pp no writing, nor marks. Isaac D'Israeli (1766-1848), son of Benjamin D'Israeli, a Jewish merchant descended from Spanish refugees who went to England in 1748, and father of Benjamin D'Israeli, First Earl of Beaconsfield. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Isaac also wrote Miscellanies of Literature, also listed separately and in a uniform spine, (last photo) which would post free if sent with this volume.
