This work, Village Belles, was her first novel, originally published in 1833. This new revised edition of the novel is part of the Bentley's Standard Novels series. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with a scattering of spots to the boards and a little darkening to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last couple of pages.
