Very scarce 3 year transition type from the cap and rays real design to the decimal coinage. Unreported but very low mintage.An obvious overdate variety with 1868/7, but not cited as such by NGC. Certified by NGC to XF 40, Population Census: This coin, only 1 higher (AU58).Dark toned, very nice in hand!
