Judge for yourself the MS condition of this beautiful coin. Obverse - Doubled lower hair and 878 in date. Polishing lines by eye. Over polished nostril. Two die cracks in Phrygian cap, with one through cap fold and the other along cap edge extending into the field. Radial die cracks from denticles to the left of L in PLURIBUS, and from denticles into N of UNUM. Broken 4th right star. Die chip in hair near eye. Die scratch on denticle near data stop between S of PLURIBUS and U of UNUM. Many letters in motto are doubled with extra metal, including E, P and B. Polished down with slightly concave obverse. Reverse - Repaired r in trust with triangle on arm. S mint mark set slightly high with slight tilt to the right. Diagonal die scratch to the right of wreath bow. Acid treated areas at eagle's left and right wing-body junction, middle of eagle's right wing, upper and lower tail feathers, and upper arrow feather. Engraved feather between eagle's right wing and leg. Overly polished left wing. Doubled arrow head.
