Description: This is an Antique John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous Large Square Covered Service Soup Tureen, with hole for Ladle, and with a floral pattern. The maker mark on the bottom of the Platter was used between 1880 - 1896. This Tureen is in Very Good Condition with no cracks or chips. **NOTE*** There is mild wear in places from age and normal use, such as wear to the gold edge paint, and some minor manufacture flaws which were common during the time of manufacture. This Large Tureen is 12 1/2" by 7 1/2" and is 7 1/4" tall. The Tureen weighs 3 LBS 13 OZ.
