Description: AB&CO Gourd Calabash 1885 Stunning Silver Capped Military Tenon Meerschaum! Interesting estate pipe. Pre-smoked and ready for a collector! Bit seems correct for the piece but not certain if original. Army style tenon. Crown needs work. Silver hallmarked AB&CO. Wood still has some shine to it with little only faint dings. A good sanding and cherry refinish will make it incredible looking. Halmarks as viewed under lens (Anchor, Lion, l) dating the capping to roughly 1885. A real nice piece for restoration.
