Осип Максимович Бодянский (1808 - 1877) - филолог, историк, археограф, один из первых славистов в царской России, писатель, переводчик, редактор, издатель древнерусских, древнеславянских литературных и исторических памятников, фольклорист, поэт-романтик. С 1845 года становится секретарём Императорского Московского общества истории и древностей Российских при Московском университете. В этом звании издавал (1846 - 1848 и 1858 - 1877) «Чтения в Императорском Обществе Истории и Древностей Российских при Московском Университете», которые под его редакцией стали изданием периодическим, оказавшим существенное влияние на российское историческое языкознание. В 23-х книгах «Чтений», изданных им с 1846 по 1848 годы, Бодянский опубликовал много древних памятниковрусской и славянской письменности. Osip Bodyansky (1808 - 1 877) - philologist, historian, archeographer, one of the first Slavists in Tsarist Russia, writer, translator, editor, publisher of Old Russian, ancient Slavic literary and historical monuments, folklorist, romantic poet. Since 1845, he became the secretary of the Imperial Moscow Society of Russian History and Antiquities at Moscow University. In this rank he published (1846 - 1848 and 1858 - 1877) "Readings in the Imperial Society of History and Antiquities of Russia at Moscow University", which, under his editorship, became a periodical publication that had a significant impact on Russian historical linguistics. In 23 books of "Readings", published by him from 1846 to 1848, Bodyansky published many ancient monuments of Russian and Slavic writing.
