NO ILLUSTRATIONS. Finished size is 6x9 inches so it opens to 12 x 9 inches for reading or perusal. This company controlled most of the lands originally granted to the Alabama & Chattanooga Railroad - one of 2 railroads (the other being the South & North Alabama Railroad) that converged in Jefferson County in 1871 and marked the location of the "new" city of Birmingham in that year - so much Birmingham interest herein. Very LIGHTLY ex-library: collector donor's bookplate on front pastedown endpaper; 1 rubber stamp on rear paste down endpaper; ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER Library markings: no call #s on spine or on cover; no card pocket; no marks at all on title page. Otherwise FINE, bright & clean condition. Tight within. A really nice copy. No other copy of this "excruciatingly" rare* book on eBay as of 24 Oct., 2024* copies were produced only for the company's board, their lawyers & upper level employees, the company's bankers, etc. Probably not more than 100 copies printed.
