Description: This is a reunion medal/ribbon for the 146th New York Volunteer Infantry, once owned by James Brown. This piece descended in the family along with a collection of over 25+ GAR and reunion pcs., now being listed for sale individually on my eBay page. The 146th New York was a storied regiment, serving throughout the war with bravery and the distinction of being a part of the elite "Zouave Brigade" of the Army of the Potomac. Many members of the famed Duryee's Zouaves of the 5th New York Infantry were folded into the 146th during the war. The following is what is included in this auction. G.A.R.
