The epilogue records some history of the great San Francisco earthquake that 'interrupted' the publication of the book. As the lore goes, only several hundred copies of this book survived the earthquake. Previous owner's name to front pastedown. Rear inside hinge is cracked. Also some erased notes to rear pastedown.
