Description: Offered is a set of 1909 Sporting life American and National League playing schedule books. Found with the two books are three separate sporting life documents pertaining to the schedules and also for ordering team group photos and celebrated baseball players of the same time. Document #1 is a Sporting Life order form for the magazine and a spot to order complete set of eight group pictures. Letter has stains and stain/foxing at the left border and a small chipped top right edge. Document #2 dated April 5th 1909 Sporting Life letter stating that the subscription had run out and please accept the 1909 season schedules for American and National leagues and appears to be hand signed by Francis Richter editor of SL, letter has toning and foxing to the top right quadrant, but is very presentable! Document #3 is 2 sided pink page and has lists of the celebrated baseball player cabinet cards you could order on one side and the team cards or group card pictures on the opposite. Last we have two schedules the red American League has spine wear to color and rear cover top edge has missing corner and edge due to bugging I'm guess (see pictures) & bottom center has stains throughout, but all very legible...... but stained. Yellow National League has overall wrinkled effect and rear cover has mild soiling and a couple of pages with minor stains. Please see pictures for best description, selling as is as described.
