Description: For your consideration is a US Model 1913 Patton Calvary Sword and Scabbard. The sword was manufactured by Springfield Armory. Total length of sword and scabbard is approximately 43”. Sword only is approximately 42.5” long. The scabbard is 36” long. The Ricasso is marked SA 1914 and has the Springfield Armory Flaming Bomb logo on the left side. The right side is marked US and has the serial number I8986. The condition of the sword is very good. It is solid and has a great feel. There are some scratches, scuffs and tarnished areas. The scabbard is excellent. It is solid, but has some scratches and scuffs. This is a fantastic sword and scabbard. Hard to find in this condition.
