Description: Lovely antique cocktail dress that dates to the late teens or very early 1920s . It’s a transitional piece with an interior wide petersham but more of an art deco cut and design , the black silk underdress is smocked at the hips This consists of a silk sheath with a beaded sequin overlay in shades of black and silver that has a cityscape scene of the New York City skyline on the bottom of both sides This is in very good wearable condition with some beading loss , most noticeably on the back shoulder ( see pics ) , there are some areas of brown fade on the skirt that doesn’t show under the sequin overlay one of the sleeve tassels is missing it’s dangle . Approx measurements 40-30-40
