Description: This is an interesting little box, I believe it was a shipping box from a Sporting Good Store to a customer in Auburn Indiana. Has a USPS 3 cent stamp that was ink stamped at the BOSTON MASS post office. What I can read on it reads:FROM HUNTING AND FISHING108 MASS. AVE. BOSTON, MASS. A typed address on the front of the box from the best I can read it:Edward Pickens ?12 E Fish St.,Auburn, Ind. Inside the box is a receipt for $1 that is dated with a ink stamp of OCT 18 1927And a Remington knife wrapping paper. The Remington paper is brittle. Box measures 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" x 7/8" Some brittleness, some discoloration from age. Please see photos for further details. The box will be heat shrink wrapped for preservation.
