Description: This Desvaux card #23 from the 1927/1928 Amatller Automovilismo set has wear to the card and some creasing. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the card. This issue of the Amatller Automovilismo set consists of 23 cards featuring prominent drivers in Europe and the Catalonia region. Amatller is a chocolate company based in Barcelona, Spain, since 1797 and continues to operate today. They would include these cards with the purchase of their chocolate. The front of the card features the driver/riding mechanic while the back of the card has driver information written in Spanish. Lucien Desvaux was born in France in 1894. He won the 1923 Bol d'Or driving a Salmson. Desvaux also ran the first 24 Hours of LeMans race in 1923 with a finish of 12th. Additional information on Desvaux would be appreciated. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
