Description: "SANTA CLAUS" DANCING PUPPET TOY - 1930s or before unmarked. Approx. 12" x 15". Color litho on die-cut cardboard. Multi-jointed with 10 metal grommets (one missing). We offer a detailed jointed marionette of Santa with beautiful detailed imagery. This is a pre-punched, assembled example. Loosely strung and fragile, but presents well when displayed. A scarce Christmas toy. Loaded with outstanding eye appeal. Condition is considered only FAIR with miscellanous surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface creasing with scattered edge tears, most notably at top hanger area (clear tape repair on back). That being said, colors and imagery are still bright, bold and attractive. Overall, despite obvious defects, we feel this is still a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
