Description: 1931 hardcover book from the Bibliophilist Society, this is Daniel Defoe's Roxana. It's illustrated by John Alan Maxwell so there are some nips showing. It's about 9.25 inches tall and 322 pages. Condition isn't good, just acceptable: Pages have heavy yellowing along with some staining, mainly a spot on the right edge on all the pages from a stain on the outside, plus the last couple of pages have a water stain in the top corner. A few bent corner tips and the illustration contents page has a big torn off section on the bottom - but that was blank. The cover has excess wear, there is an inked dedication on the first blank page and light penciling on the title page. The other thing is the endpaper in front is split at the seam. Just the normal used book that is in moderate to heavy used shape. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows. The high bidder is to pay for shipping, international shipping will be much more, sorry but the P.O. drastically increased postage for international packages - please email for a quote before bidding.
