Description: 1934 CARRERAS FILM STARS: Tobacco Card LOT of 5 - #1 (Fredric March), #24 (Ricardo Cortez), #38 (Loretta Young), #44 (Elisabeth Bergner) & #50 (Leslie Howard). These cards were glued at their very upper most portion to a piece paper (shown in images) and stored within a book for 90 years. As a result of them being stored the faces of the cards have not shed color wise much beyond their original print color (I’ve noticed all other cards have yellow fronts due to severe discoloration). 3 out of the 5 are still glued to this paper. Please read my conditioning notes for these cards below. LANGUAGE: English TOBACCO CARDS: 5 MEASURES: 1.25” x 2.75” ea. CONDITION: #1 was glued to the paper, removed and has some of the paper still attached to its upper most portion. #24 was glued to the paper, removed and the top portion of the card ripped during removal, also has a crease as the bottom (POOR). #38, #44 & #50 are still attached to the paper. After attempting to remove #24 and tearing the top I refrained from moving forward. Card backs have some foxing or yellowing present as shown in images. Two that were removed also have some paper residue or paper loss to their backs as shown. All other cards aside from #24 I would class as GOOD. SHIPPING: Fast & free via USPS (for USA).
