The ball is highlighted by Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig (sweet spot), Tony Lazzeri, Joe DiMaggio (Rookie season), Lefty Gomez, Charles Ruffing, and Bill Dickey. Also on the ball are Hadley, Rolfe, Glenn, Selkirk, Pearson, Johnson, and Seeds. The remaining signatures are faded and not legible. The ball has light toning and a few surface abrasions. In Very Good condition overall. 1936 marked the first of four consecutive World Championships for the New York Yankees, a feat that would be exceeded only by the 1949-1953 Yankees World Championship dynasty. 1936 New York Yankees team-signed balls with an authentic Gehrig signature (as opposed to clubhouse examples) are particularly scarce.
