1937 MADAME ALEXANDER PRETTY COMPOSITION 17" McGUFFEY ANA DOLL ORIGINAL OUTFIT

Description: Up for auction is my Madame Alexander Composition Charming McGuffey Ana. She was made in 1937, and is 17 inches tall. (Doll needs to be re-strung)She is in amazing condition for being 86 years old.Doll was listed in a Madame Alexander Price Guide at $675.00. Once re-strung it is a beautiful collector's addition.Her composition is in wonderful condition with no crazing whatsoever.Her face paint is also wonderful with great eye shadow, cheek blush, and painted on eyelashes and eyebrows. Her brown eyes work and she has all her lashes.I was told by the person who sold her to me that McGuffey Ana appears to be all original with exception of her shoes.Shoes are black suede-type high buttons on shoes.Underneath her dress, she is wearing what appears to be her original slip with attached panties with eyelet lace.Her dress is in excellent condition, except for one very tiny pin hole on the front and in the back on her ties is a tear on one side but does not show in the bow. It is tagged "Madame Alexander McGuffey Ana, NY USA, All Rights Reserved."Her pinafore is organdy white with loop lace around her neckline.Her knees, hands and elbows are all still have great blush to their composition.Her straw hat has pale pink silk flowers. She is marked on the back of the neck (hard to read) Princess Elizabeth Madame Alexander.Last two photos show Princess Elizabeth in a Lg Alexander book, and the last photo shows part of my doll collection.Sadly the price of purchasing boxes, packing material, and the cost to ship has go up and I've had to adjust my shipping fee, not to make money but not to lose...........NOTE.
