Description: I rebuild this1937 1938 1939 ford Deluxe generator. It seems I run into some 1940 that use this but my book does not show them. I soldered the armature and turned and undercut, bearing, bushing, brushes, and lacquered fields. Than I ran it on test bench for twenty minutes. I have been doing this in my own shop for over fifty years and now do just vintage ones. I will give this a life time warranty (my lifetime) no matter what the cause. I am 69 and probably have another 10 years left in me and I can’t imagine anyone wearing it out in that amount of time, if so I will repair it for free less shipping. If this fails because of a problem with the car or pickup I will cover repairing it also. And than walk you through repairs on the car via phone. Look at my 100s of positive reviews, I will treat you right! If you put yours back in the box I send this one in and send it to me I could repair it for a spare, probably fairly cheap. Also I will refund you a hundered dollars if you return a like rebuildable core to me. And another $75 if you return me a good pulley, these pulleys are getting hard to come by as they were used only on the deluxe generators. they are different shaft size than the earlier generators.
