On Sale is a 1938 first edition of * Canlyn Arthur: Ysgrifau Gwleidyddol *, by Saunders Lewis, published by GWASC, Aberystwyth [first published 1938] this one is dated 1938 to the title page and to the copyright page, size approximately 7-3/4 inches x 5-1/4 inches, with 148 pages. The black cloth-covered hardcover with gilt title to the front and spine, is lightly rubbed and bumped on the spine-ends, corners square, very sound and not split along the spine edges, fading to the spine and front top edge area, gilt bright with titles clearly legible, otherwise generally clean and tidy (see photo's 1 & 7). Inside is complete, page top edges trimmed other edges rough-cut and untrimmed, endpapers sound and not split, hinges sound with boards firmly attached, has "DM Jones, Coll Exam" written small to the top corner of the front free-endpaper, no other writing or graffiti, binding tight with all pages well attached, corners not turned and pages not torn, some age-toning and spotting to a narrow edge of the slightly larger leaves else not tanned or foxed, only lightly read, otherwise bright and very clean and tidy.
