Description: Thanks for checking this out! Here is August 27, 1939 Knoxville Journal 100th anniversary from the Jenkins attic find of undelivered newspapers. Tanning at the fold on the outer leaf, else very nice condition. Comics condition is as good they get. See pics for all titles. Nice Dick Tracy full, no Superman (yet). This publication was owned by a paper mill and no trees were spared to publish this special massive Sunday. They even wrote an article on the front page declaring 13 acres (!) of trees were used to create this print run. The entire paper weighs 1 lb., 15 oz., and is packed with local Tennesee history among other things. Shipped on folds and sturdy. Please send me any questions! US only, please. Thank you for your consideration, David S. Albright
