"Bullet" shape, measures approximately 4 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches deep, and weighs approximately one pound, 1.6 ounces. Please see all photos for condition, some rib dents. From a 1948 RCA catalog: "MI-12017 Aerodynamic Microphone CLOSE-TALKING SPECIALIST | Lightweight, small,streamlined and thus physically suitable for closetalking, this microphone also has the acoustical characteristics necessary for excellent close-up announce work. Its risinghigh frequency response gives it unusual intelligibility. So faithfully will it perform its role in fine reproduction, that it may be used for music solos when the accompaniment is picked up by a velocity type of microphone. May be mounted on floorstand, desk stand, or outfitted with a handle. It's furnished with 1/44" female pipe thread and requires an MI-6229 Adaptor to fit a W-27 threadstand.
