Description: Vintage 1940s Volupte Swinglok “Sophisticase” collector’s carryall compact purse with handled carrying case. It is gold tone with a with horizontal chased lines. The carrying case is black. This Art Deco piece opens and closes with the upper handle metal handle lifting and lowering. This case includes a mirror, comb, powder and puff compartment and a spare compartment for cigarettes or money. There is a small Comb with case that has New York buildings on it. The back of the black carrying case has a snap close handkerchief pocket. Size: 4 1/2" w x 3 1/4" h x 1 1/8" d. Case is 2 1/4" h x 5 1/2" w x 4" d. Weighs 1 lbs. Condition: Missing Lipstick. Comb missing some tines. Case of Comb has wear of plating.Box bottom shows little wear.
