Description: 1942 Vintage John Bartholomew Atlas Map ASIA Physical features 20” 2 images one 20 inch and 1 x 10 inch on the reverse (Asia vegetation). This is on one sheet . This map dates to 1942 and was amen from a publication known as The Oxford Advanced Atlas by John Bartholomew . It was published by Humphrey Milford / The Oxford University Press . I am also offering a large quantity of maps from this period and earlier in other listings . These Bartholomews examples measure either 14.75 inches x 20 inches or 14.75 inches x 10 inches.Some of these ( mostly the smaller ones have a useable image on the reverse ) and hence have 2 images. Where there are images that are useableon the reverse I have included these in the photographs. Some of the larger examples are in 2 pieces where each side was on a seperate page, however some are on a single sheet . I have specified which is relevant in each listing. Good Luck. This is in reasonable condition , please bear in mind it is nearly 80 years old , there is some wear around the edges and some light discolouring and will have binding holes along the centre fold if it is a 20 inch map.
