Description: A September 2, 1944 issue of the Nippon Times, Japan's first English language newspaper. It is an interesting piece of WWII history in that the news is from a Japanese perspective but in English - for example, expressing "full confidence that final victory will rest with the Axis." On the back is an editorial titled "Freedom or Death: Japanese Women Prefer Self-Immolation to Captivity." Please see the photos for more examples of the content. A large newspaper, at about 18" x 22". Four pages. Good condition with toning from age and sun. It is heavy newsprint that is not brittle but it is fully toned from age and has been folded 5 or 6 times. A rare and illustrative piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed. I always combine shipping and will refund back the extra on multiple item purchases.
