1946 Jamaica Horse Racing Program - Assault, Stymie in Gallant Fox w/ Win Ticket

Description: Here's a pretty rare vintage horse racing program that includes an even rarer win ticket. This is a program from October 26, 1946 at Jamaica Race Track in New York. This has one of the biggest and richest races of the year with the $75,000 Gallant Fox Handicap featuring Triple Crown winner Assault as a 3-year-old against older horses like fellow Hall of Famer and Texas-bred Stymie and other top horses like Miss Grillo, Lucky Draw and Pavot. Stymie won the race with Assault in third. This is special because it also has a $5 win ticket on Assault affixed to inside first page. It appears there was another ticket below it that was removed, so there is some paper loss there. The program has a crease down the center horizontally and some surface creasing but no writing. There is some glue residue on the back from where this was in a scrapbook. Please review the photos and use the magnify feature to review the condition.
