Description: This listing is for a 1948 BAA Championship Finals program from Game 1 of the series between the Baltimore Bullets and the Philadelphia Warriors, played on April 1oth at Philadelphia Arena.In the series opener, the Warriors defeated the Bullets, 71-60. Unfortunately for the defending champion Warriors, the Bullets would win 4 of the next 5 games to capture the championship in their first year in the league. From 1944 to 1947, they played in the American Basketball League, where they were champions as well.This program is in fair to good condition, with multiple creases, spine & surface wear, small tears and wear along the bottom edge, a tiny puncture at the "April" on the cover and two hole near the spine, apparently to accommodate being placed in a binder.The newspaper images in the last 4 photos are for reference only and not part of this auction.
