Description: 1950 Map Of Taipei Shih (Taihoku), Taiwan, US Army Map Service. This map was compiled by the Army Corps of Engineers, and the army map service. It was compiled in 1950 from various sources, including Japanese imperial land surveys from during World War II. This map includes the East China Sea, Formosa strait, Taipei Shih, and Chi Lung Shih. This map is formerly from a university’s library collection, so there are stamps from the library on the map for cataloguing. Please see photos to see this. It has been folded also, but can be easily flattened. There is also a blue pen marking on it which I put in photos. Finally, the map has a small bit of taping on the back from small tear repairs.
