Description: $4000 - Lathe is a Victor engine lathe 10"x32" 12 speed 32-1800 RPM, circa 1950s (estimated) fully functional except for the water pump. At a previous shop the lathe had been locked into 285 RPM, and that speed still works very well, but every other speed sounds and runs like new. The lathe has new drive belts, had the shifter fork rebuilt, the gear oil flushed and changed, and spindle/chuck adapter mounted and balanced. The machine holds tight tolerances and runs very well at all RPM. The stout iron bed is completely rigid. This late will not flex or vibrate. The emergency stop has been removed, but the foot brake works perfectly. $4000 - The mill is an Induma Knee Mill (Bridgeport copy) 36"x10" 4 speed 600-2100 RPM Circa 1950s (estimated). The mill is very tight and the DRO has been trued with a .0005" indicator. The ways and turn handles are tight and slick. The mill has power Z, and power X. The X electric motor has been disabled (likely for OSHA compliance with fixed handles) and this has not been assessed. The mill was designed for liquid coolant, with internal reservoir and plumbing fittings, but the coolant pump has been removed. The mill was made as an 8 speed but the low range belt is broken. The lathe is over 3,000 lbs and the mill is 2,000 lbs. Can be sold together or separately. Price is for EACH machine. Can discuss price options for buying together. **Will discuss options for freight shipping with interested buyers.
