Description: Vintage 1950’s Sunbabe So-Wee By Ruth Newton African American Black Baby Doll w/ Moveable Limbs. RARE. Eyes are clear. Head is a little smushed, some joints are starting to deteriorate where the rubber has aged. Photos show condition. Good condition overall no holes or major damage. I have extensively researched this doll to try to find a comparable but the closest I can find is “Amosandra”. This doll does not have a squeaker in the back like the similar So-wee dolls that have the date of 1957 on their backs. It does have the hole in the mouth and in the butt so it may be a “drink and wet” doll. Condition is "Used".
