Description: The ungraded card from the "carbking" collection is in excellent condition with four nice corners and some slight spotting on the backside of the card. The card measures roughly 3.75" x 2.75". Please review the attached pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card. The 1954 Stark & Wetzel cards were a promotional campaign where an Indianapolis 500 Winners card would be inserted in the packaging of one of their meat products. There are a total of 37 cards in this set, and they are very rare. As of this posting, a total of 49 cards have been submitted to PSA for grading, and only a single Louis Meyer card. Louis Meyer was born in 1904 in Yonkers, New York. One of the finest drivers of his generation, he would win three national championships and three Indianapolis 500's. This card marks Meyer's second victory in 1933, driving the #36 Tydol Special. The 1933 month of May was the deadliest, with five participants succumbing to injuries sustained during the event. Meyer would win this race by 5 laps and a record average speed of over 104 mph. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
